Job Description
Marut Drones is looking for an Assistant Manager – Inventory to oversee inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations. The role involves maintaining optimal stock levels, tracking inventory movements, and ensuring efficient storage and retrieval processes to support production and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Stock Monitoring: Track stock levels, analyze usage trends, and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Warehouse Operations: Supervise receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials efficiently.
- Material Coordination: Work closely with the procurement and production teams to align inventory with demand.
- Inventory Audits & Reporting: Conduct regular stock audits and prepare inventory reports.
- Process Optimization: Implement best practices for storage, material handling, and stock rotation.
- Zoho Inventory & Documentation: Use Zoho systems for inventory tracking and ensure proper documentation of stock movements.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure materials meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
Knowledge and skill required
- Strong understanding of inventory control, stock management, and warehouse operations.
- Good analytical skills to forecast demand and manage stock levels.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and handle fast-paced inventory processes.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in warehouse management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain roles.
- Experience in aerospace, drone manufacturing, or electronics industry is a plus.
